Not many restaurants can lay claim to the title "Home of the Buffalo Burger", but the Hide-A-Way Buffalo Grill in Canton, Ohio can. And does!
Proudly owned and ran by Harry, Venna, and Mike Sylvester. What started as a gimmick around 1983 has become a signature menu item. Our 100 seat establishment has become known for its wide variety of buffalo based menu items including a Buffalo Burger, Buffalo Cheeseburger, Buffalo Swiss Burger, Buffalo Steaks (Porterhouse and T-Bone), and Buffalo Stew!
Buffalo meat is also available by the pound.
Venna reports that buffalo now accounts for 40% of their total sales. Hide-A Way averages one whole buffalo a month. The health benefits of eating buffalo attract many customers. Buffalo Meat has been proven to be high in protein and low in fat, cholesterol, and calories. In testament to their booming business, the Sylvester's have hung the original shoulder mount and hide of the very first two buffalo's they served on one of the walls in their restaurant.
